An ecosystem consists of a network of structures including organisms and their environment, which also involves the interplay of biotic and abiotic factors. Research findings on the current state of ecosystems in the world are not encouraging therefore the need for all to ensure preservation and conservation of ecosystems. We all have individual roles to play in this. One of the most important roles is to educate ourselves on the need to preserve and conserve ecosystems.
