Treasure in the house of the righteous
In the house of the righteous there is much treasure: but in the revenues of the wicked is trouble. Proverbs 15:6
It is exciting to read that the house of the righteous has much treasure. Who is the righteous of God? The righteous of God is the person who has a right standing with God. In other words, he or she has accepted Jesus as savior and received the forgiveness of sins. He or she cannot be accussed about the wrongs done in the past. This is exciting thing about the Gospel- that although one may have committed wicked deeds, one can still receive forgiveness from God and move on in life for the best.
A righteous person has treasure because this treasure is imputed by Jesus Christ. Jesus makes something beautiful out of the righteous person and because of the treasure in the righteous, he or she becomes a blessing to the world. Every righteous person is a blessing to the world irrespective of how old you are in the spirit. This is the truth about the Gospel. Therefore discover the treasure in you and use it to bless the world. Indeed, there is treasure in the house of the righteous.
In contrast, wickedness goes with trouble. It is not fun to be a wicked person although initially, there is much excitement with wicked activities.
