The word of God as a spiritual law
The word of God as a spiritual law:
Everything in this universe is governed by law(s). When the law(s) governing an entity is enforced, things work out well and the opposite happens when the law(s) are not enforced. The invention of electricity has greatly helped mankind to live a decent life on earth. We use electricity for heating, for cooking, for production in factories, transportation and many more. We reap these benefits of electricity when we enforce the law(s) governing it. This same electricity can raze down skyscrapers and destroy many other things when the law(s) governing it are not enforced or disobeyed.
The word of God is a spiritual law. It functions in a similar way as the natural laws. Every word that proceeds out of our mouths works to put us over in life or destroy us because words are spirit (John 6:63). If we control our words and bring them under the dominion of God’s word (spiritual law), we will enjoy success in this life. Meditating and speaking God’s word conditions our spirits to act right. When a man’s spirit is in good shape, it reflects on the physical body and also on the actions of the physical body (Joshua 1:8). Our tongues must be guided by the word of God always!
