TAKE BACK WITH FAITH
In this world nothing falls from the sky and nothing becomes your possession without you taking it. For instance, the whole world has been saved by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ but salvation has be taken or received before it becomes one’s possession. Many businesses thrive because they reached out and took possession of what was needed for the business to progress. How do you take back with Faith?
If you own one million dollars in your bank account and you needed to purchase a flight ticket and fly from one location to the other, all you needed to do was to write a cheque or pay physical cash for your air ticket. If you should tell people that you can’t afford the ticket although you have such an amount in your bank account, people will think that there is something wrong either with you or something else. All you needed to pay for the ticket was to take the money and pay. The same principle applies in the spiritual realm. Man is a spirit living in a physical body. Man operates in two realms- spiritual realm and physical realm.
“According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue” (2 Peter 1:3). The child of God has access to all things. What is required to take the provision of God is Faith. Indeed the days of manna have passed because God has opened another dispensation for His children to walk in. Any time we take our gaze off our Father, we begin to sink just like Peter did when he was on water walking towards Jesus. We need to keep our eyes on the Father always. Secondly, Peter, responded to his feelings and that also accounted for his sinking. We must not allow our feelings to dictate our future. Everything around you may be pointing to failure and you may be feeling it deeply but you should not be moved.
What would you do when one early morning you wake up and see a stranger moving your vehicle from your garage? No rational person will look on for the vehicle to be taken away. This is how some Christians behave. They look on when the devil is taking away what belongs to them. “And from the day of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence and the violence take it by force” (Matthew 11:12). You don’t have to allow anybody to take what belongs to you.
To take back with faith, refuse to think about any contradictory thoughts that will occur in your mind. For sure, the thoughts will come but don’t meditate on these contradictory thoughts. Combat contradictory thoughts by quoting what is written in the word of God. For instance you can quote Isaiah 54:17 which says that “no weapon formed against me shall prosper”. Anytime you declare the word of God to a bad situation in faith, the bad situation changes but in the spirit realm. It will take some time to see that change in the physical realm. Until the change in the physical realm, you still have to hold on and not reverse your statement. Rejoice and thank God when you take possession in the spiritual realm. The ever glorious life in Jesus Christ, where we continuously make progress depend on us and not God. God has finished his part.
Your faith activates God’s power so always endevour to develop your faith with His word. Keep confessing the word of God in faith and never lose your hold on the promises of God. Discover the promises of God concerning your area of need and speak those promises out in the name of Jesus Christ and things will fall in place including changes that have to be done in the physical realm to realise your need(s).
